Literary Ladies Check In ~ Numero Dos!

Whoop Whoop!! It's Friday and another weekend is here. This has been a crazy busy week for me work wise and the blog took a back seat even with so many posts half drafted. I just couldnt get it together to take photos and edit them, but next week I should be back on my game - Also, next week is my birthday week!!

Anyway today is literary ladies check in for the Summer reading challenge ...

On the last check in date I had one book still to read and I was planning to swap out the "YA" that I did read. Unfortunately, while I have been reading, I didn't read those two books yet. Soooo yeah we're still in the same position. Let's take a look.

What I've Read:
* A YA book (mandatory!) ~ Nineten Minutes by Jodi Picoult (swapping this out for a real YA - Eleanor and Park)
* Non US Author  (mandatory!) ~ What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty
A book that has been on your TBR list for a year or more ~ 12 Years a slave by Solomon Northup
A book with a kickass female character ~ Rage against the Dying by Becky Masterman
* A book that is or will be a movie (or TV show) ~ A long way down by Nick Hornby
* A book written by a comedian or celebrity ~ Bedwetter: Stories of courage, redemption and pee by Sarah Silverman
A book with a one word title ~ You by Caroline Kepnes
* A suspenseful book – a mystery, a thriller, a book about revenge ~ The Martian by Andy Weir
* A book about Summer, with Summer in the title ~ Last Summer by Rebecca Rogers

Still to read:
* A book that was recommended by a blogger  (mandatory!) ~ Once Perfect by Cece Robson (recommended by Kerry)
* YA novel ~ Eleanor and Park (since the one I read wasn't exactly a YA)

Link up your post below!!

Remember there's still the wild card prize to be won and it will go to one of the persons who finishes by the end of the challenge on September 21st! You must link up on that date to be entered for this prize!!

  5. What Alice Forgot is one of my favorite reads from this year, I really like the way it ended because I didn't think that's where the author was going.
