Happy Thanksgiving to those of you in the U.S!!
Even though we don’t celebrate it here in the Caribbean, I’ve always loved the spirit of the Thanksgiving holiday. Even on the days when the world seems like a giant mess of chaos (personal world and world at large), I still try to remember that it could be worse.
This year I have a lot to be thankful for: my sweet love Danny (edit: I’m one of those people who calls their dude ‘sweet love’ apparently 😉 ), my family and friends, my cat and all of our health! I try to remember to stay thankful in the ups and the downs and to be present. I absolutely love that there’s a day reminding you to do just that. So savour the day and enjoy it and most importantly …. take a drink for me!
